TEEsox™ are unique sock animals made from all reclaimed clothing. They are all hand-stitched, one-of-a-kind, and created by me in my home studio. I recently started writing children's picture books as well. The first two manuscripts are inspired by one of my TEEsox superhero creations!

I began making TEEsox as a way to deal with the difficulties of Chronic Lyme Disease. I started sewing simply to feel productive while passing the many sedentary hours on the required IV therapy.

The actual TEEsox were inspired by a friend's primitive sock monkey but the designs quickly morphed into my one-of-a-kind creatures. About

At first, I gave the dolls away as gifts, but friends encouraged me to start a business. Since then I have crafted hundreds of TEEsox, and now that my health has returned I am enjoying growing my business and contributing to the sustainability movement.

As for the TEEsox themselves, each is completely hand-stitched to ensure that one-of-a-kind look and feel. Every animal is crafted from reclaimed and vintage clothing gathered from garage sales, thrift shops, antique fairs and generous friends. Even the stuffing is made from discarded tee-shirts. And every piece of cloth, from the stuffing through the shell, is thoroughly cleaned before sewing begins. People say they love the lumpy and irregular feel of the animals because it reminds them of the lovable rag dolls they cherish today (or wish they still had).

These unique critters are filled with character and meant to be quirky and fun, from their gangly legs and exposed stitching to their silly lips and pinch-stitched noses.

My goal is to create sustainable products as unique and brilliant as those that love them!
