TEEsox™ are unique sock animals made from all reclaimed clothing. They are all hand-stitched, one-of-a-kind, and created by me in my home studio. I recently started writing children's picture books as well. The first two manuscripts are inspired by one of my TEEsox superhero creations!
I began making TEEsox as a way to deal with the difficulties of Chronic Lyme Disease. I started sewing simply to feel productive while passing the many sedentary hours on the required IV therapy.
The actual TEEsox were inspired by a friend's primitive sock monkey but the designs quickly morphed into my one-of-a-kind creatures. At first, I gave the dolls away as gifts, but friends encouraged me to start a business.
