A few years ago, my brother asked me “How did you learn to paint? Can you teach me how to paint?” I could not really give him an answer. One morning when I was visiting my parents during the summer of 2006, I woke up at 5am and didn’t want to wake them up. So I started painting with my mother’s acrylics and did my first painting in 5 hours. I also enjoy painting with watercolors and now I am painting on glass ball ornaments.
Later that year, I started a new endeavor working with wood. I began using a scroll saw to create coat racks, napkin holders, and many other items out of wood.
Quilting and sewing is another creative outlet for me. I have designed my own pattern for a baptismal quilt, in addition to making unique infant and child quilts and tote bags. I am always designing new items; the most recent is a purse organizer…
