In 2001 dear friends of ours introduced me to lampworking.
I quickly took classes from Michael Barley, Margaret Zinszer, and a few local artists here Washington.
In 2003 Lori Robbins and I met via her inviting me all the way over to Florida for a visit. Lori introduced me to borosilicate glass. She has been a WONDERFUL friend and mentor. Lori is famous for her knowledge of color mixing in glass.
I have also had the opportunity to have a private lesson with Nancy Tobey, which was just a delight! If you do not know who she is look her up. You will be glad you did!
My husband, Helmer Sieber and I have two sons.
Seven years ago, we built our house on five acres of land with a creek running through the property. After a good rain, you can hear the creek and some times there is a mist in the area. Hence the name "Misty Creek Studio."…

I am a member of the International Society of Glass Bead Makers as well as Self Representing Artists(# 186) . My merchandise is sold in Southern California, on Ebay( larger sets) and in Bearfoot Art Glass Studio in La Conner, Washington.
