About

Retired from the corporate rat race, I live a quiet life in the hill country of Central Texas pursuing my passion of manipulating any and all fibers into art quilts and accessories.  My creations incorporate the mixed media artistry of fabric, fiber, paint, beads, handmade papers and vintage memorabilia.  The inspiration of my style of art is based primarily on childhood memories of a wonderfully diversified upbringing in a much simpler era.  As I get older, the visions of beauty appear in such simple things and so much more often.

The art of crafting/creating something out of nothing is a challenge I dearly love.  All my art endeavors have this goal in mind.  This art comes from an Eco-friendly, smoke-free and pet-free home studio.  Don't take me wrong - I love animals - they just don't live in the Studio with me!   I have many acres devoted to all kinds of critters.  The fabrics I use in my art ar…

My strongest support team consists of my two best friends:  my daughter, Deborah, and my sister, Wanda.  I have many other friends who encourage me to pursue my passion.  A wonderful, loving husband has always encouraged me to follow my arty visions.
