Jennifer M. Ramos' Profile

About

Jennifer M. Ramos (photographer) specializes in urban decay and environmental portraiture. She spent a couple of decades or more toting around a camera (Kodak 110, Polaroid, 35mm AE-1 Program, then digital SLR), and recently forayed deeper into creative exploration, plunging headlong into specific areas of photography. The college photography class, shooting rolls of black and white, and hours spent in the darkroom (cutting other classes - yeah!), helped lay that foundation.

Fetish is a term often entered into search engines late at night. Textile Fetish, is a different kind of feel-good fun. It's what happens when Austin-based designer Jennifer M. Ramos mixes unexpected, mostly reclaimed/repurposed fabrics to create useful items such as aprons, craft gear, children's clothing, and accessories.
