About

Welcome to The1Bohemian.etsy.com. My name is Toni and I am wife and mother to the two most amazing guys on this earth. My son is my hero and my husband is my best friend in the whole world. I love them just a smidge! ;)
I was born and still reside in Texas. I was raised in a loving family who never had a lot of money but never ran low on talent. My grandmother was the most amazing cook ever. My "Papaw" was and still is a wood-carver who also painted and drew cartoons for fun and my mother could literally do it all! She was a hair stylist, cook, painter, carver, and could whip up any craft with ease! She painted portraits and even the occasional race car! She always encouraged my artistic side. I can still remember thinking thoughts as a child such as " Someday I want to be the grandma in the kitchen whose family 'oohs and ahhs' at the taste of my food" and wanting to be exactly like my mother in every way. She and my grandmother…

I was born and still reside in Texas. I was raised in a loving family who never had a lot of money but never ran low on talent. My grandmother was the most amazing cook ever. My "Papaw" was and still is a wood-carver who also painted and drew cartoons for fun and my mother could literally do it all! I can still remember thinking thoughts as a child such as " Someday I want to be the grandma in the kitchen whose family 'oohs and ahhs' at the taste of my food" and wanting to be exactly like my mother in every way. She and my grandmother both passed away in 2000 but I can't help but feel like I'm connected to them both when I'm doing something artsy and creative or cooking up a yummy meal for my family. I also lost my first husband in 2003. Needless to say, I've learned to cherish every moment with the ones I love, embrace God's gifts, and slow down and just be thankful. I'm thankful for my loved ones in the past who've made me who I am and my loved ones here who hold me together. I've been so blessed to be given a second chance at love and not just happiness but true joy.
Making jewelry is my newest and most favorite adventure. It builds my patience, relaxes my mind, and inspires me to keep creating and to just do what makes my heart feel fuzzy! It absolutely makes my day to know that I've made something for someone that makes them feel unique and beautiful. I hope that you enjoy my jewelry and my shop. If you do, please do not hesitate to add my shop to your favorites. :)
God bless!
Toni
