A few years ago, I was rummaging through a bookstore that was going out of business and ran across a book on beadweaving. I was intrigued and bought the book. After duplicating several of the patterns - and accumulating more bracelets than I could wear in a lifetime - I began foregoing instructions and creating my own unique designs.

Since art and creativity have always been an important part of my life, I have felt quite at home designing jewelry. I've dabbled in photography, freeform ceramics, drawing, and trompe l'oeil. But this jewelry thing has become a passion.

While having taken the occasional class to learn technique, my work reflects my own aesthetic: a love of nature, the earth tones to which I’m drawn, and a recurring aquatic theme - specifically coastal overtones.

I've branched out from the original beadweaving to wirewrap, metal fusing, and working with semi-precious stones and my beloved sterling silver. The result is an ecclectic, organic mix of jewelry. And always, it's a work in progress....or perhaps a short attention span!
On my to-do list: stone setting and experimenting with precious metal clay.

I hope you enjoy browsing through my shop, and that if you have any questions you will not hesitate to convo me. If you see a piece that has been sold, and would like something similar, I would be happy to work with you. Correspondence will be answered promptly.

I want you to be as happy wearing my jewelry as I was in creating it!
