Welcome! I am a printmaker, quilter, and draftswoman, gaining these traits both formally (schooling: many bills. effective) and informally (experience: not so many bills. better yet).

Inspiration comes from everywhere, it seems: papercuts, folk & outsider art, classical & old soul music, good news, bad news, my neighborhood, my children. Mix all of those with pattern/repetition, and you've got me figured out.

As for the process of making a print: I start out by drawing an image onto a linoleum block, and once satisfied, carve it out with my U and V gouge tools. After proofing the image, the block is inked and prints are then run through my heavy little table-top press in my home studio. Voila! The smell of ink reminds me of school, and the printing process is known to increase my mood ten-fold...it's one of my favorite things to do,…
