I have 15 years + of experience in individual, couples, family and group counseling. I am currently enjoying full-time private practice in Connecticut where I see mainly adult clients, but also continue to practice with children and families in a limited capacity. In addition to counseling services, I present monthly seminars and facilitate trainings on a variety of topics to audiences at corporations in the Springfield and Hartford areas. These topics include: stress reduction, life balance, effective collaboration in the work place, resolving interpersonal conflict, happiness, overcoming procrastination, elder-care, time management, burn out, emotional intelligence, etc.

My training in aromatherapy includes extensive study under Dr. Ravi Ratan of Aromamantra and David Crow of Floracopeia.

A Note On Consultations

If you book a private consultation through Etsy with me, I will be serving you exclusively in the capacity of an Aromatherapist.

The role of the aromatherapist is to help you identify where essential oils may be a support to your well-being. With this understanding, you can then decide which elemental mixtures will serve you. You will learn how to use these powerful tools, as well as your emotions and spiritual tools (all working together) for your healing process.

We received an email from a recent client, Kelly Wright:

"Samantha,

I wanted to tell you...when I got home last night I had one of those nasty stress knots I used to carry on the left side of my neck, could feel a well defined quarter sized lump, painful to the touch...smaller one on the right side too. Been awhile but sleeping on a couch for a week aggravated the potential to get them. Now my massage therapist has successfully been able to get rid of them but it's usually a pretty painful endeavor of pressure point massage.

So I thought, what the heck. I put a good size drop of your oil mixture on my fingers and gently rubbed it in for a couple seconds, did the same on the less tender side and literally before I had the cap back on and could put the bottle on the shelf, I could freely move my neck. I felt the knot and it had immediately started to shrink, by the time I got in bed, maybe 15 min later, it was gone completely. Now these things used to plague me for days, affect my hearing, cause headaches....so yes, I'm a believer.

And thank you.

PS: Almost can't wait for the knees to act up to see what it does for the joint swelling."
