I am a former computer lab manager gone gaga for jewelry making!

In 2002, after many years of left-brain activity ruling, I decided to find a "hobby" that did not include installing RAM, troubleshooting systems, writing documentation, or other "techie" things that had absorbed my work and home life for the previous two decades.

I have always loved jewelry and can remember as a child filling my fingers with rings of all kinds--often from the gumball machine--and never being so happy as when I had all fingers covered! Combining that joy with a life long love of rocks and their properties, I began making my own jewelry, though, I have become a bit more discerning in the quality of the "rocks". About

I don't know about you, but I don't feel completely "dressed" when leaving the house unless I have a full complement of jewelry pieces: necklace, earrings, and bracelet(s); now days, my wedding ring is usually the only piece of jewelry I wear which I haven't made myself--even my watches are personalized jewelry as I enjoy making them to match the seasons, a particular outfit, and so on.

One of my great pleasures is searching gem shows, estate sales, and the artisan stores on Etsy and across the 'net for unique, high-quality components to use in my jewelry designs. I hope you enjoy these designs and find a treasure or two you can't live without!
