About

It all started in Mrs. Wurdeman's Store when I was five. Mrs. Wurdeman, an invention of my childhood imagination, was the imaginary shopkeeper, and her store, was the junk room tucked away in our upstairs attic. I spent hours at that store, arranging, displaying and tending to her shop. It occurred to me many years later, that what started as a creation of childhood, eventually metamorphosed into my real life job.

I have been hunting, gathering, buying, selling and collecting for over 25 years. My background is primarily in vintage and antique jewelry, which is where my experience and business have it's deepest roots.

I love it all - Victorian, Edwardian, Art Nouveau, Deco, Mid-Century, Native American, Modernist and Studio Designs.

In the spirit of Mrs Wurdeman, I also love trinkets, baubles, supplies, antique photos, vintage accessories - whacky, whimsical, never to be made again items. When I need to relieve stress, I still love sorting through little treasures and finding the gems and one of a kind things lurking in discards of the past. There is nothing better, than reviving them back to life.

The Caravan Collection is an eclectic mix of my adventures and loves. I picture the gypsy traders of the past, rolling up in a caravan, displaying their world of wares for sale to the curious shoppers awaiting their arrival. May my shop provide you with a bit of this wonderment and the excitement of finding something that truly delights.
