I was first bitten by the jewelry bug over 30 years ago and am still happily scratching away! Over the years I have experimented with polymer clay,assemblage, precious metal clay, lapidary, and metalsmithing. I was making and selling jewelry for a living until 1997 when I opened a retail store called Curiosities in Trinidad, Colorado. Ten years of retail allowed me the opportunity of traveling to many exotic destinations to learn about and purchase gorgeous handcrafts for the store. Life became very busy and I had little time for making jewelry. Instead of letting all my gorgeous beads languish, I opened another shop called Curlys Beads.(Curly was our incredibly charming pug and the darling of all those who had the good fortune to make her acquaintance.)
