About

Hello I'm Jasmine. I'm 19. And I'm a professional photographer.

I'm also a college student studying Photography and Fine Art. I use Nikon. At work I normaly use a D300 but the camera I own right now is a D90, but I'm planning on upgrading to a D7000 soon. I love art and I love crafting. There isn't one specific thing I like to work with, but right now I'm super interested in pen and ink drawings. I have some really odd fasinations with carnivals, and dark mysterious type art works. I love the whole kawaii style with cute little baby faces on food and junk lol. I dont think I have a certain style it's just whatever I like...

I was raised heavily around the whole Marvel and DC superheros and Star Wars so yes they are apart of me, thanks to my father lol.(They raised me to be a geek) My dad would always make me and my brother remember certain superheros villans it…

I was raised heavily around the whole Marvel and DC superheros and Star Wars so yes they are apart of me, thanks to my father lol.(They raised me to be a geek) My dad would always make me and my brother remember certain superheros villans it became a game for example he would say "Batman" then we would say "Catwoman, The Joker, The Mad Hatter, Poison Ivy, The Riddler, The Scarecrow, and etc"
And as for Star Wars...well I didn't catch on as well as my little brother but til this day my dad will go around saying "Jasmine I am your FATHER!!!"(darth vader voice of course)

90s baby. (Rugrats, Johnny Bravo, Dextar's Labatory, CatDog, Rocko's Modern Life)

Love Cartoon Network's cartoons; Adventure Time, Regular Show, Misadventures of Flapjack, The Amazing World of Gumball

My favorite artists would have to be....
1.) Rembrandt- Becauase his use of darks and lights are excellent and thats one thing I really try to play on it makes your work of art really stand out.

2.) Salvador Dali- His subject matters are simple but the work of art isn't. He also pulls some of his ideas from dreams he has had, which I completely adore. In my mind a dream is the rawest form of creativity, and when you can translate your dream into a readible (or noreadable) piece of artwork it's amazing.

3-4.) Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein- Two of the greatest artist ever. Both from the POP art era. Andy Warhol used simple everyday items you would find around the house to make a large statement. Alot of people don't realize the conversation POP art artists were trying to acheive but when you really look into his art works and read on them it's more than meets the eye. And honestly I don't know to much about Roy Lichtenstein but I do love his artwork just the whole comic book type thing he had going(i don't know the fancy name for it) is really cool.

I also want to thank my boyfriend Mackenzie for always being there for me and constantly being my support Thanks for never giving up. I love you. Without you I wouldn't be where I am now. Your awesome :D
