About

Let’s put it this way: I’m the artsy fartsy one of the family.

Basically, this means I did a lot with my first paint set of red, green, blue, yellow, black and white. As time went by, I would ply my artistic urges through watercolors, pen and ink and oil pastels finally being satisfied with acrylics.

Majoring in art history and archaeology (with a minor in business for my parent’s sake) led to working in the higher education and museum communities in Upstate New York. On the whole, most people would be satisfied. However, my innate artsy fartsiness would come out exposing a style bearing a resemblance to geometric abstract designs, unrealistic human forms, probing furniture portraiture and skewed interpretations of nature.

But where, how and, for goodness sake, when could I ever become a real live artist who sells art to people who were opened to artsy fartsiness? And then it happened: a need to create a final project to obtain a master’s degree was the impetus to the creation of an online art shop on Etsy!

So you find me now: a real live independent online artist!!

I sell original paintings and giclee prints of my originals reproduced by a Rochester, New York business. I also sell prints of little drawings from my poetry journals which I call Itty Bitties – because they are kind of small.

My dream: To complain about paint being on my hands and under my fingernails and that dog hair gets on the packing tape because of all the orders that have to be shipped.

My hope: You find a piece of artwork that brings you happiness or you at least like looking at my artwork inspiring your inner artsy fartsiness.

Warmest regards,

Lizabeth
