Lizabeth Dailey's Profile
Let’s put it this way: I’m the artsy fartsy one of the family.
Basically, this means I did a lot with my first paint set of red, green, blue, yellow, black and white. As time went by, I would ply my artistic urges through watercolors, pen and ink and oil pastels finally being satisfied with acrylics.
Majoring in art history and archaeology (with a minor in business for my parent’s sake) led to working in the higher education and museum communities in Upstate New York. On the whole, most people would be satisfied. However, my innate artsy fartsiness would come out exposing a style bearing a resemblance to geometric abstract designs, unrealistic human forms, probing furniture portraiture and skewed interpretations of nature.
But where, how and, for goodness sake, when could I ever become a real live artist…
