Hey, I’m Dalia, founder and head artist of Wight Modern.
Born in Mexico City, raised in California and recently returned from some epic European adventures, I’m the girl with a bucket load of sass and spirit ready to inject it all into my graphic designs.
You’re likely to find me getting my fix at the In-N-Out, and not too long ago, you’d have found me people watching on a Dutch terras, nursing a warme chocolademelk with cream and marshmallows (as if you even need to ask), or standing in line at the oliebollenkraan trying to get my hands on one of the tastiest treats the Netherlands has to offer - a hot, doughy, unfortunately only seasonal - oliebol.
If I’m not there I’m probably introducing my tiniest sidekick to my favorite Cali sights and enjoying the sunshine and warm weather (look, with over 2 years in the Netherlands, it’s about time I took in all that missed vitamin D).
And if I’m not there? Then I’m behind my desk with my nose in my sketchbook, extensively researching and designing my newest graphic logos & designs for your shirts.
That’s where my passion lies; in those moments of quiet where my creativity can come to life. Crafting those unconventional, unique and modern designs that keep your style distinct and authentic is my jam.
Movies, pop culture & iconic musicians are my driving forces, which is why you’ll find a myriad of logos, prints, lyrics and images on my made-to-order shirts. And they’re all created for you. To help you show your unique style in a world drowned out by mass produced copies.
