Three Graces Designs began in October 2006, when my compulsion to create jewelry out-paced the number of friends and family I could make gifts for. I had been beading for more than 15 years, but when I discovered metal smithing at Cambridge Center for Adult Education my jewelry-making hobby quickly turned into a passion.
Now in my cramped, one bedroom condo atop Prospect Hill, I create simple, contemporary designs of sterling silver, freshwater pearls and natural stones. The hand-forged and soldered silver pieces in my collection continue to grow along with my skill and passion for this art.
The name Three Graces Designs is derived from the “Three Graces” in Greek mythology believed to embody beauty, joy and good cheer. It is also a tribute to the women in my life that embody these characteristics- my three sisters, Cindy, Deb and…
