About

I'm not sure if it's in my maiden name... Goldschmitt, aka gold-smith? Or whether it's as simple as: jewelry is pretty and I want to make it. Whatever the case may be, jewelry is who I am. It's not a "job", it's part of me. If I'm not actually in the studio, I'm constantly thinking "jewelry". It's one of the first things I look at when I meet you. You're supposed to look someone straight in the eyes, I find myself looking at your earrings or necklace first.

This jewelry love affair started in 2001. I had just moved to Vail, CO. I was in the process of making a lot of changes: new friends, new job, I had a new lease on life. I wrote a poem, "Throwing Stars," about taking chances and making big changes. My new home was like pressing the "do-over" button.

Over the years my jewelry has morphed from beading to what is now my core jewelry designs. These designs include a lot of hammering, wire twisting, and stone setting all made from sterling silver, 14K gold-filled wire, fine metal, precious and semi-precious stones.

I've also started incorporating lost wax casting into my lines. Lost wax has allowed me to add more texture with branches and hand carved charms. The charms and branches are made into cocktail rings, stacking rings, earrings, bracelets, and necklaces. These new designs are very organic and rustic, while also made to compliment my core jewelry designs as well.

In all of my jewelry you'll see that I do a lot of two-tone designs. Whether it's gold-filled, 14k gold, bronze or oxidized/blackened silver, I love the look of combining metals together.

I'm a working mom of two precious girls. I also have a ton of help from Emily Handelman and Dana Parness. We work out my my Atlanta, GA studio and we're constantly playing with new ideas and filling orders. Since life keeps us busy, we strive to make jewelry that’s fun, lightweight, easy to wear, with a hint of sophistication and shimmer all in one!

Shipping: The shipping method I use for most orders is US Priority Mail. For orders under $40, I use USPS First Class Mail. If you'd like me to insure your jewelry, then extra shipping costs will apply.

Exchanges: If you aren't happy, than I'm not happy. I want you to wear your jewelry! I'm more than happy to exchange what you purchased as long as it's within 30 days. Just send it back to me and we can figure something out that will work better.
