About

*About the Paintings:
I have worked in the fine arts for over 20+ years. My current body of work reflects a love of Nature, an exploration in color and design. Painting for me is like meditation and I'm addicted to pairing strange color palettes together. Most paintings are done on gallery style canvas (no staples showing!) and are ready to hang or frame at your discretion.

*About the prints:
The prints are either open edition or limited edition (will be stated). Each print or mat will be hand signed by me and ships flat. They are printed on high quality papers to ensure longevity. Print type will be specified (i.e. iris, giclees, etc)

***About me:
I'm a professional artist who loves spending her time creating things. I paint on all sorts of things so who knows…

***About me:
I'm a professional artist who loves spending her time creating things. I paint on all sorts of things so who knows what you might find. I am inspired by Nature mostly and feel like most waking hours should be spent appreciating, creating and giving back.
In 2009 I suffered a back injury that had me in so much pain I couldn't sit for 2 minutes to paint, couldn't stand for more than 5 minutes and walking...not an option. After a year of rehabilitation, physical therapy and lots of support from friends I am now able to enjoy all those things and more. SO HAPPY to sit and paint again!
Unfortunately, what should have been a celebratory time turned grey when my dear father passed away. He always nurtured my artistic endeavors and I feel proud to sign my name (his last name) to every piece as a living legacy to him. In honor of my Dad I create every day. My hardships drive me to love life in every way possible and create, create, create- it is what I am here to do.

Walking around my neighborhood, seeing what people throw away or don't notice, music, folk art, the weather, grafitti, nature documentaries, cartoons, stories, the colors, the sounds...all these things inspire me. As my Dad said to me I say to you "Enjoy the Life (Disfruta la Vida)
