About

Specifically inspired by the beauty in tiny mishaps and searching for a kind of pretty you haven't seen before, I, like most, have been creating since I could hold a crayon.
Drawn to installation since I first entrapped my room in purple yarn at age 5, I find home at ends of the spectrum continuing to create space commanding, space specific work that mesmerize and intrigue as well as constantly creating portable, often purposeful work that often fits in the palm of your hand.

This site (Tinymishaps) brings you a blend that is shippable and appropriate for the home. The focus is portable intrigue through hanging chandelier like sculptures but you will also find a showcase of fully portable works including prints, jewlery objects and more.

More on Tinymishaps 'stuff':

TinyMishaps also offers a unique array of hanging sculpture made primarily of paper and artist prints though some include playing cards and photographs. Many fully rotate while others hang on stationary platforms and several resemble tiered chandeliers. Their airy and intriguing appearance is constantly mesmerizing and you will see new things in them every time you pass. These affectionately named 'paper hangy things' are hard to describe. I've said it's like having a miniature thematic art show that's elegantly erupted from a blender :). See more details on them on my website

New experiments currently include a venture into jewelery making. (Which has taken over the shop!) Currently these are still in the more traditional/contemporary phases but hope to branch out in the future. Jewelery is often an essential accessory to a complete outfit and has the ability to change your mood, outlook and the way people see you. Transform your outfits with TinyMishaps jewelery which provides an easy and quick way to switch from professional to casual, flirty and fun and back again. Draw attention to your face with the right necklace and earrings or go for a standout bracelet.

Inspired by the beauty in tiny mishaps and searching for a kind of pretty you haven't seen before 'Tiny Mishaps' combines the traditional, the contemporary and often the broken to create new things.
