I have been obsessed with jewellery since I can remember. So when I was thirteen I started making it!! At that time I was making regular trips to London with my mother, buying beads, making jewellery and selling it to friends, teachers and my mother’s work colleagues.

I caught the bug and decided to persue it as my career. I obtained a place at Middlesex University in London to study a degree in jewellery on a very experimental course. Being on such a contemporary course meant that we were encouraged to make ’body art’ from materials such as paper, plastic and steel. The idea was to produce designs which broke down the barriers of traditional

When I left college, I decided that I wanted to design and make jewellery that was well made, completely wearable and affordable, but that incorporated everything I had been taught at both college and in the workplace.

My tlk collection is strong, contemporary yet stylish. My inspiration comes from everywhere including machinery, trees & architecture. I mix silver and gold so that they appear on the same pieces together. I think they look beautiful together and I love the idea of a chunky silver ring being upstaged by a very delicate strip of hammered 18ct gold.
