About

I never thought of myself as an artist. I was always the one writing crazy stories about the imaginary main character that I wished I was. My stories were my creative outlet, but my drawings...well, they left a lot to be desired. But as an adult, I was working in the retail world as a manager of a big name home decor company. I loved the creativity that was brought out of me while working there. It started as just a job at 18, but grew into a means to express myself. More often than not though, my responsibilities as a manager overshadowed the artistic outlet of spending time with a customer to create that something they wanted in their home, but could not visualize completely.

I realized that I would never get to be the artist I was fostering inside if I didn't get beyond a retail standpoint. I decided I needed to get back in school! I spent a year in Graphic Design, where I fully began to realize the ability I had for painting, drawing, and creating in a way that I never thought possible for me. Financially, I was unable to continue with my degree there, but the passion had been instilled in me and I couldn't just set it aside, so enter Etsy! At this point in my life, it is the best avenue for me to share my passion with as many people as possible. Not only that, I kinda needed a place to share the actual things I create, as I have NO MORE ROOM on my walls for them! :) So, please....take a piece home and enjoy it as much as I do. And if you want to see what I'm up to daily, you can follow me here...here...and here! Enjoy!
