About

Hi and thanks for calling by Twiggypeasticks.

I have loved making and doing since learning how to stitch with my Grandma and Mum when I was about 5,, it all started doing giant wonky stitches on coasters that my Mum still has to this day.

Fast forward several years and I now live in a small windswept Yorkshire village high up in the hills with my fantastic little family.

I am still happiest when making and although I enjoy painting, stitching and card making, my biggest love is jewellery making.

I enjoy nothing more than sourcing unique and unusual beads and then taking my time to ensure each piece is just right, thinking about different themes, textures and colours. You can be sure every piece of jewellery that you purchase from me…

You can be sure every piece of jewellery that you purchase from me will be a one of a kind piece.

As for my shop name, why Twiggypeasticks?

As well as inheriting a keen love for making, my Grandad and Mum are both gardeners, I love being outside and love listening to garden programmes on the radio.
A few years ago I was listening to Gardeners Question Time with a cup of tea in my hand, and one of the panel said every garden needs some Twiggy pea sticks, I loved the phrase and filed it away in my head for later use.

Fast forward to my career break to have my son, I started a blog about our adventures called The World Of Twiggypeasticks and naturally I simply had to use the name for my shop !!!

So there is a little bit about me. I do hope you enjoy browsing my shop, if you have any questions or would like me to do a custom make for you, please do get in touch.
