About

Hi!

I'm Gabby, I'm a young mama to a beautiful boy with Asperger's (a form of Autism), I live for all things creative, artistic and beautiful, I love coffee in the morning and tea throughout the day&night, I can be a bit of a nerd (okay, a MAJOR nerd), I'm a whiz in the kitchen (especially when it comes to creating gluten-free noms for my little man), I love my cats (one day, I'll be old and grey, sitting on a porch, yelling and waving a broom at the neighborhood kids - Hello, crazy cat lady!), and finally, I am more prepared for the zombie apocalypse than I am for my own retirement.

About

I started making jewelry in late 2010, early 2011 as a form of therapy. My life can be quite stressful and I needed a new creative release. I taught myself a variety of techniques and about different materials. Flashforward to a year later, I finally felt confident enough to begin selling my creations. So, here we are.

I am entirely self taught, I haven't taken a single class, if I see a piece of jewelry I love in a store, I pick it up and study it until I've figured it out. I am always evolving and adapting techniques and materials.

I named my shop after the old English poem: One for Sorrow, Two for Joy. I think we can always use a little more joy.

The money I make here, will go towards funding a better life for my little family and to, of course, prepare for the apocalypse (or my retirement, whichever comes first). :)
