Sarah Johns' Profile

About

I have been creative since I was a kid, always dabbling in different art forms from drawing and painting to pottery making. I studied Art History and Studio Art at the College of Charleston, receiving at BA in 2010. Since graduating, I have continued to teach myself new ways of creating, including sacred geometry and mandalas, jewelry making, book binding, photography, and even some sewing.

Creating is a form of meditation and mental exercise, it draws me closer to who I am and allows me to transcend the ordinary. I love how something can be created from nothing, and this endeavor consistently amazes me. My shop is a reflection of that. You will find jewelry made from natural, recycled, and salvaged materials, medicine pouches and journals made from scrap leather, and painted mandalas inspired by nature and ancient cultures.
