Jacqueline's Profile

About

I'm a self-taught jewelry artist who has been creating jewelry for more than 20 years. I began with knotted necklaces using stone beads. I moved on from there to strung necklaces using a variety of different materials. Most recently, I have transitioned to metalworking. I love creating one-of-a-kind pieces from copper using cold connections. I also incorporate other metals, leather, wire, and beads in my designs. I am inspired by shapes and patterns I see and like to combine different materials to create something unexpected. When I start making a piece I never know how it will turn out until I'm done. I work out of my home and my "bead room" is my creative space.
