Several years ago I made a fabric purse for my sister-in-law Cherie. She always likes to have something that no one else has so I usually make her gifts. Cheryl, the owner of a really cute gift shop (Weeping Willow) Cherie shopped at, loved her bag and phoned me to show her any more I had. This began a great friendship and a wonderful adventure.

Cheryl always has great ideas and I went from purses to belts, hats, embellished jeans and tops, and skirts and jackets made from vintage tablecloths and bedspreads. Cherie and Cheryl think I can make anything they can think up which gave me the courage to go ahead and try. It's great to have friends and family who believe in you and they are my biggest cheerleaders.

My purses and bags are usually not structured or stiffened. I prefer a smushy kind of look that gives them their vintage look and feel. I like to mix up the fabrics so your bag will not be the same as anyone else's bag. Many times I use fabrics that I cannot get again or vintage fabrics, so I can't make exactly the same piece again. But that's the beauty of it! Hope you find something you like.

I spend lots of time at Estate Sales lately and always hope to find something special to make a new/old necklace or new/old clothing. The skirts and slip dresses sport some gorgeous old linens and I cant stop myself from adding to my mountain of linens ready to become something new and glorious!

Many items in the shop are already finished and ready to go. I should be able to ship out very quickly, as soon as payment is made. Items will be shipped US Mail First Class or Priority Mail depending on weight. Custom clothing orders may take up to 4 weeks to complete depending on my work load.
