Hello

I am new to Etsy just went live with my shop in March 2012 and am very excited to be here! My relationship with jewelry begain in 1993 when on a whim I took a workshop at Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts in Gatlinburg TN. I was hooked from that first day!
Making Jewelry I felt I had finally found my place in the world! Before that week long class I always felt lost and like a ship with no rudder, but once I found jewelry I was driven to pursue a career in it. I went back to school the following semester for the first time in four years. I graduated from Northern Michigan University in 1996 with a BFA in Metalsmithing/Jewelry. The aspect i love about Art the most is that it is a constant learning experience.
If I am not learning something in the studio I am learning about the business side of things. Next year will be the 20th year anniversary of my love affair with making jewelry and I feel like I just got started. There is always something new to discover and create.
I hope to delight and surprise anyone who follows my work!
