Hello, welcome to Weaverbird Designs.
My name is Sue and I live with my husband in a small village which nestles alongside the River Severn in Gloucestershire.
I am a weaver, spinner, dyer, felter and knitter, and any medium really that takes my fancy. I attend Tai Chi classes and belong to the local dowsing group.

I obtained my qualifications in beginning, intermediate and advanced weaving at the University of Alaska, Anchorage and also with the prestigious 'Bradford Diploma in Handloom Weaving" which is a two year course in Yorkshire.

I do most of my work on an eight harness loom. I'm not a production weaver....'spasmodic' I suppose would be a good word, as I try to juggle my love of colour and weaving alongside family commitments, a large productive garden, chickens and a bouncy (but very lovable) Welsh…
