Wee Ball Yarns gets its name from an island at the mouth of the Bay of Islands in Western Newfoundland. Officially called Guernsey Island, the locals call it Wee Ball or Weibald because of its shape - like a perfect ball dropped into the ocean. I love its mystery and beauty. It is the starting point for inspiration when I make yarn.
When I am not gazing down the bay, I am an artist who knits and a knitter who makes art. I also spin and sell my hand-dyed and handspun creations. Sometimes the allure of the yarn is too much and I knit it up into one-of-a-kind hats.
My art website is here: http://www.robynlove.com. Stop by and say hello!
