I'm drawn to natural objects for my subjects--flowers, branches, vegetables, and especially fruit--and prefer simple, uncluttered arrangements. As an avid cook, I'm inspired by cook books and cooking magazines, the farmers market, and my own garden. I paint directly from life, setting up the subject matter in my studio, and use only professional artist's quality paints and canvas.
