About

I am a Michigan based artist. My favorite mediums to work with are clay, glass, and metal. At the moment, I'm focusing on jewelry and jewelry related items. I have made jewelry my whole life. As a little girl, I would make necklaces and bracelets with yarn and beads for my friends. When I got older, I studied jewelry making from junior high through college.

In 2002, with the help and encouragement of my family & friends, I started Sterling Dreams. My company now includes home showings, the art fair setting, and most recently the Internet.

People ask me why I don’t make the same types of jewelry as other people and why I don’t follow the trends.

Well, the answer is simple….I don’t believe we should be told what to like and when to like it. I make all of the items myself in my home based office/studio space. I only use authentic, natural, and un-dyed semi-precious stones. I find inspiration in nature, the past, and from my niece. I use materials that are beautiful, high quality, and unlike what can be found at most stores, to make jewelry that is versatile enough to be worn everyday or for special events. I specialize in one of a kind designs and also offer custom design services for any occasion.

When I am not busy making jewelry, I love to paint, take motorcycle trips and hunt for antiques with my husband, practice yoga, garden, and cook.
