About

Hi there! Thanks for your interest in my friends, the monsters. They are just beside themselves with happiness that you are here! I even saw a tiny smile on one of the grumpiest ones.

As for myself, I am a one person shop who wears many hats. I also live in two worlds: the "real" world and the monster world. I'm not sure which one is more challenging. In the real world, some of my everyday duties include: acting like a grown-up (darn!), making art (fun!), doing lots of paperwork (not so fun) and sharing my creations with you (big yay!) In the monster world, most of my time is taken up with interviewing prospective Guardian Monsters, providing tea & tasties to keep them calm during the interview process, and then if I'm lucky, creating their portraits.

My sincere wish through all this is to bring you and yours happiness, adding a little…

About

My sincere wish through all this is to bring you and yours happiness, adding a little extra silliness into your life, while making a living doing what I love to do. I've been a professional artist for 30+ years and I can't tell you how much I appreciate the chance to make art straight from my heart to share with you.

I hope that you get a chance to visit my monster website: http://www.wheremonstersmeet.com. If you'd like to know anything about monsters of all kinds, that's the place to go! I can always be reached directly via my website's email (monsters@thinktechdesign.com) or through my etsy shop's convo link. I would love to chat with you and answer any questions you might have.

My first love has always been drawing. My latest passion is monsters. Helpful monsters (they try anyway.) Grumpy monsters (there are plenty of those.) Monsters that sneeze, hoot and snore (don't we all?) They are fascinating and complicated creatures to be sure.

(Ahem)

While I realize that most folks can't see them and may think me a bit strange for admitting that I can, I feel that it is necessary to let you know that it has become my mission to introduce them to all of you. Hence this shop.

My personal monster website ( http://www.wheremonstersmeet.com ) provides important monster info, especially concerning Guardian monsters. For instance, Monster Etiquette. How to introduce yourself to each one is vitally important as each monster is quite different. Embarrassment aside, your continued good health may depend upon doing it correctly. Some monsters are quite nit-picky on following proper etiquette. You will also learn about their food preferences, and most importantly their unique Beneficial and Protective powers.

I call many of them personal friends, which has made my daily life especially "fun". Did I mention that the Guardian Monsters have rather big egos ? sigh...
