Sharon Fisher-England's Profile

About

As soon as I got the hang of holding a pencil, a snowman appeared on the paper before me. So began my artistic journey...

Since then, I have spent many joyful hours painting, drawing and sculpting. Nothing could stop me. Whatever bits and bobs I could get my hands on were used as tools to creatively express myself. Some children made mud pies, I made mud ducks.

Recognized for my talent at the age of 11, I was the featured artist in my school's art show. Soon I was entering, placing and winning art competitions locally and state-wide.

I started selling my work professionally at 17 and now, 17 years later, I am blessed to have my artwork displayed in private collections world-wide.

My inspiration is garnered from vintage fairy-tales and folksy art, the magical English countryside and the amazingly alive woodlands of Pennsylvania. Animals fascinate me and I endeavor to accurately {all be it whimsically} capture not just their physical appearance in my drawings, paintings & sculpture, but their character as well.

Acrylic paints, polymer clay and pencil are my favorite media to work with. I also enjoy up-cycling forgotten furnishings to create one of a kind decor. You will find originals dominate my inventory.

If you would like to chat, have any questions about my art or are interested in commissioning me to bring to life an idea you have, please convo me.

Thank you for stopping by and I offer you a warm welcome to my wonderfully whimsical world.

Joyfully Yours,
Sharon Fisher-England
