Lindsay Norris' Profile

About

************************************************
I am a life long lover of fiber.
I was taught to crochet as a small child (from my mother) then later learned how to knit and became addicted to knitting socks.
When I learned how to spin it was all over from there, I have been addicted to fiberwork for quite some time.
I love to have fun with my projects, howver sometimes I do design, spin or knit classic items. But having fun in life is much nicer.
My wish for you is to have fun with fiber, no matter the outcome. everything you create with your hands will be beautiful...BECAUSE you enjoyed working on it and had FUN!

Yarn care:
When careing for your hand dyed or hand spun yarn it is important to treat it with delicate care. For a longer lasting fiber and color, you should use water no warmer than luke warn and a small bad of a mild soap such as baby shampoo or specialty wool wash soap.
When washing make sure so swish gently (no aggitation or excessive tumbling)
then either line dry or roll the yarn in a clean dry bath towel to remove excess moisture then hang to try.
* Never ring or twist the yarn to remove excess
water.

We wash our yarns with a special wool wash before dyeing, after dyeing and before shipping, so there is no need for extra extensive soaking and washing before use.
We want to make sure that all residual dye has been removed and your hands will remain color free.
Never dry your yarn in a dryer with excessive heat, even when superwash wool yarns. the excessive heat can great down the patented superwash process and felting/shrinking will occur.

**If at any time you encounter a problem with your yarn please contact us and we will do our best to work with us. We are here for you and just want you to have as much fun with our yarns/fibers as we had creating them (by either hands spinning or handpainting)
