Bronwen Jones' Profile

About

Bronwen is the creator behind ‘whizzbangle’. She lives in Brisbane, with her husband Simon and two girls Maeve and Alice.

After a single four hour resin class, Bronwen has been experimenting with different resins, colour effects and bangle designs. Simon’s work bench and the girls’ sleep time have helped in whizzbangle pursuits!

Bronwen creates unique pieces using a combination of resin, pigments, Pearl-ex powders and lately, spice powders. With future experimentation, Bronwen hopes to embed items such as papers, fabric, her much loved Birkenstocks, beads and coffee beans. And that is just next week!

If a piece catches your eye, but you prefer a different size or colour, please talk to me about a custom-made piece (at no extra cost).

Care of your whizzbangle
Resin is durable, lightweight and warm to touch but, like glass, it deserves to be handled with some care, and can crack or break if dropped on hard surfaces or treated roughly. When not in use, the best way to store your whizzbangle is wrapped in something soft.

Each bangle is a little bit different and surface marks or “birth marks" are completely normal and in no way detract from the look or value of the piece.
