Growing up in a family with 5 girls alot of our time was spent doing crafts, sewing, knitting, crocheting, and building. Perhaps I was hooked into Jewelry making when I made my first macaroni necklace in grade school! Through the years I have remained active and creative in the art industry. I spent many hours with my daughter when she was young encouraging her to be unique and make things herself. She was always buying clothes and ripping them apart and reinventing them.
I think my frustration with trying to find a specific piece of jewelry that I had in my head in the retail market led to designing and making them myself. I gave away many, many things until my hobby became a business.
I have taken many, many classes to broaden my knowledge and fine tune my skills in the jewelry industry. This along with my inspiration, (which comes from everything from Nature, to Medival techniques, to vintage styles.) helps me to create one…

Friends have constantly given me pieces to duplicate or rework that have either been worn out or are missing a component. So don't throw that single earring away.
