I'm a very happy jewelry designer; a psychotherapist in private practice for many years; a lifelong gardener; author, photographer, teacher, quilter and knitter with a creative spirit that takes a new form every decade or so. Looking for colorful, wearable jewelry art that's elegant, unusual, fun and will absolutely make you, or someone you love, feel beautiful every day? You've found a treasure trove of fine artisan earrings, bracelets and necklaces made for the woman who proudly dares to dance her own dance, sing her own song, show her true colors and risk being a little (or a lot) of a Wild Woman! Welcome to my Etsy Shop of Beautiful Twinklies.

I'm a very happy jewelry designer; a psychotherapist in private practice for many years; a lifelong gardener; author, photographer, teacher, quilter and knitter with a creative spirit that takes a new form every decade or so. (If I'd known then what I know about myself now, I would have gone to art school!)

After many years living along the beautiful coast of Maine, which is the home of my heart, I now live in Seacoast New Hampshire, nearer to my two darling grandchildren.

One constant in my life is a love of all things beautiful. I first fell in love with lampwork beads, collected them till I ran out of shelves and containers, and then decided I should figure out what to do with them. My first jewelry-making class had me hooked from the git-go.

Eventually I semi-retired as a therapist and devoted myself to the practice of cultivating beauty: gardens, jewelry, all things that make the world a brighter and happier place. I love the instructions of the Navajo people to always walk in beauty.

For now, I'm happy to open the doors and windows on a gorgeous sunny day, watch the birds flit among the trees and the clouds drift overhead while I bead my happy little heart out.

When I wear my own creations even to the most ordinary errands through my everyday life, I feel more beautiful, and that's what I hope for you too. That you will be living your life, doing what you do, and put on a pair of earrings, a bracelet or a necklace that just makes you look and feel like your Best Self. Every woman needs that, and every man must remember that about the woman he loves.

Every piece of my work is unique and comes to you with the good bead karma of the happy woman who makes it. May that karma bless your days.
