Hello! My name is Dee and I'm a glass artist from New York's upstate capital region and close to Bennington, VT. I share my studio with 3 frantically happy furry girls, all rescue dogs.
My work is created by designing, cutting and layering glass and fusing the layers together in kilns at temperatures up to 1500 degrees, sometimes multiple times. My glass pieces are all kiln annealed (slowly cooled) to give them lasting strength and durability and each one goes from me to you with joy!
When Dichroic glass is added, combining the play of light and the vibrant colors give it visual beauty.
