Long involved in quilting, I decided that it wasn't time-consuming and expensive enough, so I started beading too. I never met a craft I didn't want to try!

I have a fondness/weakness for cats, love to sing at my church, and I earn my living in data processing.

I get my love of crafting from my mother. She spoke of making herself a crocheted necklace when she was young, and when I learned to make the crocheted ropes and bracelets, I was hooked! She also taught me to quilt, although techniques have come a long way since her day. She passed away recently at age 96, and I like to imagine that the jewelry and quilted items that I make are her legacy as well as mine.

Unfortunately I have had some family requirements that prevent me from spending the time I would like for creative endeavors. Perhaps I'll get back…
