About

I've been working with leather since 1999. After initially being inspired by attending renaissance faires, I started making my own leather items. I traveled for several years working for a company selling leather goods, and also making and selling my own items. I finally decided to settle down and start my own business a few years ago and began making and selling goods to New Age/Metaphysical shops all over the country.

Late in 2010, I was asked to create a "steampunk styled" wristband for a stage performance at the local college. The wristband was so well received, I was encouraged to expand my line of steampunk items.

I patterned a few items and listed them here on Etsy, and in just a few months, Steampunked Out was grossing more than my wholesale business. I have since then expanded my line to include a huge number or products. I have also had to set up a full retail website to allow customers to purchase items with a large number of custom colors, styles, and sizes, but I list the most common color and style options here on Etsy. I also will sell mis-sized or damaged items, and sometimes prototypes or OOAK designs not available anywhere else.

I have always been good with my hands, and grew up learning woodworking and craftsmanship from my dad. I hope you find what you are looking for and if you don't, let me know ...maybe I can make it.

Thanks for stopping by ...Merry meet, merry part, and merry meet again.
