JoAnn Paulsen's Profile

About

Hi, my name is Joann Paulsen and I import and sell Worry Dolls from Guatemala. In 1989 I had the wonderful opportunity of being the buyer, designer for Barry Greenberg father of the "Trouble Dolls".

I had lived in Mexico for 28 years and was fluent in Spanish and was a fashion accessories designer and importer so being his designer was right up my alley.

When Barry passed away in 1993 I kept buying the dolls because the doll makers needed to eat. And I'm still buying the dolls. The craft items in the store are made in the U.S. using dolls from Guatemala, ceramic pots from Mexico and miniatures from both Mexico and Guatemala. Enjoy them and come back to see us soon.
