JL Kinsey's Profile

About

I attended Art School in Vancouver right out of High School and then studied Art History in Europe. I had the awesome opportunity to live in Greece, Italy, Switzerland, France and England for 4 months. I have gazed upon the Sistine Chapel in Rome, climbed to the Parthenon in Athens and studied in the Louvre in Paris and the Tate Gallery in London.

I am now creating and painting as therapy to help me get through these tough times. Art has become a kind of "therapy" for me.

My subject matter is broad and I paint in a range from realism to abstract. Depends on my mood and what I am trying to say. My favorites are horses, animals, figures, landscapes and spiritual scenes.
I strive to capture the unseen. I try to paint from different perspectives to different dimensions.
