Petra Adams' Profile

About

I was born and raised in Germany, but have made the hot and sunny southwest desert my home. I am not happy unless I create, be it a sculpture, a painting, a mosaic, a public art piece or jewelry.
My soaps were created out of necessity, as both of my daughters and I have extremely sensitive skin and break out very easily. I did not think that I would enjoy "cooking" up a batch of soap and coming up with new recipes as much as I do, but once I started, I was hooked. While my soaps might not be colorful or pretty, they are completely free of dyes, fragrance oils, SLS and parabens. Faint scents are created by using essential oils. I have a passion for vintage and antique items. I enjoy finding good uses (and homes) for vintage items. Why not buy something vintage and use it on an every day basis? Chances are, it is of much better quality than its newly manufactured counterpart. Vintage items have a history, they have soul and you are doing the environment a favor by re-using, instead of buying new.
So please take the time and browse my shop and see if you can find that special piece that is for you.
