Xsilk items are made in small batches in my Brooklyn workshop.
From painting to tailoring, I work on each & every item from start to finish with occasional help from an expert silk tailor
Silk is hand painted or hand dyed using only eco-friendly, non-toxic dyes.
Dye colors are set permanent by the old fashioned way: air curing for two days, then slow steaming the silk. Each completed garment is washed at least twice and pre-shrunk before it is sent to out to the world. Silk used for XSILK are quality silk, free of excessive wax and binder(often found in…
