I grew up outside of Yosemite with a love of the natural world, over time I began to create useful items around the house that were also artistic. Today I make a variety of organic functional art. Also visit my blog for a larger portfolio of my work!

WHAT"S NEW AND INSPIRING:
My latest and grandest creation has been a lovely daughter who fulfills my heart with joy. I have been inspired with a new creative.side.which has been a fun new path to take. My love for the mountains is still there and I continue to explore the wonders. Now I am able to show my daughter that same love! Combining those two passions has given me the latest creation of a.toddler bed. filled with colorful mushrooms and trees, I ak hoping many other families can enjoy the same creation.

More about me:
I began at a young age creating pieces of art work. Making earrings or carving soapstone figures. As time went on I began drawing more and more and started getting into photography. I went to college at Humboldt State and have been working as a Geologist ever since. While in college I was cruising along the beach one day and came across some very interesting pieces of driftwood. I decided to make a few of them into lamps. For shades I would purchase handmade paper and reform the shade so it had a more natural look. Many friends and family liked them so much they either purchased them or traded for pieces of art work in which they had done.

Today I make numerous items as a hobby and sell on the side for extra cash. My favorite items are lamps, mirrors, vases, cribbage boards and now beds. Almost everything I create is functional organic art. The true beauty of artwork though is when someone brings a new challenge to the table......

As always, send me a line if you have any ideas to make something creative. I will see what we can do!!!

Thanks for looking me up,
Scotty
