I am Alanna, the do-er of all things 'The Modern Figleaf!' From designs, pattern drafting, cutting, sewing, print graphics, shipping and more. I am the one and only who pours love into the products you love and order and for that I am forever grateful!

I came to the big city of Toronto from a small northern town in 2011 to pursue my fashion interests! To end up where I am now, I have dabbled in alterations, women's wear, accessories, contract sewer for Canadian brands, and running a Canadian Made design label. In 2015 I started scratching the surface designing an underwear label with eco bamboo textiles and circled back around in 2018 which has now become The Modern Figleaf!
