Zoey March's Profile
My Zoey March meaningful jewelry and cufflinks are created using words and images from vintage books, maps, music, and ephemera -- all of them rescued from library and estate sales, used book stores, thrift stores, and the odd dumpster. I love to read, write, and play with words in my daily life and in my art.
Jewelry has always been a means of communication -- displaying status, protecting against evils, conveying enduring love. Every piece of my jewelry carries a message, too. People wear it and give it to say everything from "I will survive" to "Will you marry me?" to "You are special to me." I love having a vicarious part in these communications! When I'm making my jewelry, I imagine someone using it to share love or inspiration, and I send a little bit of positive energy with every shipment.
I'm also a poetry fiend, hospice volunteer, jiu-jitsu…
