About

I have been a woodworker for almost 40 years. When I began to work with old wood, I was awed by its beauty--a catch-in-the-throat kind of feeling. I loved the unique forms that were possible. Today I work almost entirely with old local woods and found objects. Here in New England, old pine may be 250 years old, and that in itself is fascinating to me.

In addition to woodworking, I am a mother, grandmother, retired goat keeper, and retired teacher. I love flowers in pots, dogs, and the smell of dirt in the rain.
