I am a nature girl, love the beauty of the outdoors, walking, hiking and leisurely drives. I make soap, knit, sew, spin using a spindle and always have a project going on. Actually, it's more like 2 or 3 projects. Usually at least one short term and one long range. Right now my long range is a mitred square afghan.
I love color, fragrance, and good food and drink. The good things that make a simple moment spectacular. Sitting on the patio watching it rain (rain is rare in the desert) reading a book, watching the dogs play or the birds at the feeder are all joyful things.
