Vengo de una larga herencia artística y astuta. Algunos de mis recuerdos más fuertes cuando era niña son los del centro de arte local donde mi madre trabajaba como voluntaria. Cuando éramos niños, pasábamos el rato esperando a que ella terminara de ayudar con las instalaciones o lo que fuera que estuviera pasando. También organizó una "noche de manualidades" en nuestro sótano con el mismo grupo de gente del centro de arte. (¡Recuerdo claramente las velas de arena!).
Como resultado, la creatividad me inspira. Me encanta mirar cosas únicas o diferentes y arte hermoso. La naturaleza también es una inspiración para mí. Encuentro intrigante el mundo natural pequeño u oculto. Es algo único y diferente.
Y si hay sentido del humor o ironía evidente, mucho mejor.
I come from a long arty and crafty heritage. Some of my strongest memories as a child are of the local art center where my mother volunteered. As kids we hung out there waiting for her to finish helping with installations or whatever was going on. She also hosted "craft night" in our basement with the same group of art center folks. (I distinctly remember the sand-mould candles!).
As a result, creativity is inspiring to me. I love looking at unique or different things and beautiful art. Nature is also an inspiration for me. I find the small or hidden natural world intriguing. It is its own unique and different thing.
And if there is a sense of humor or irony evident, all the better.
